Rewarding Work is the specialized online directory connecting people with disabilities to qualified care workers in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Kansas.
Key aspects:
- FREE for those eligible through their Managed Care Organization
- Post jobs and connect directly with support workers in their area
- Browse applicant profiles to find someone who meets their loved one’s needs
- Access caregiver resources with tips, tools, and free training for navigating home care
They may also consider creating a free caregiver account to find paid caregiving roles, especially since many of the most impactful caregivers are those who’ve already supported a loved one.
Note: Rewarding Work’s current partnerships are with certain KanCare MCOs, but families and individuals in Missouri are absolutely welcome to use Rewarding Work. Due to the nature of Kansas City, we do already have some applicants across the border using the platform. That said, because the free access codes are tied to our Kansas partnerships, Missouri “employers” that aren’t members of our affiliated MCOs would need to pay for the low-cost subscription to access the full site.
