Jewish Family Services (JFS)

Programs address aging-related issues such as support to maintain a home, transportation, health, mobility, grief, isolation, emotional concerns, and more:

Help@Home
Provides high quality, dependable minor home repairs and access to services helping adults ages 60 and older maintain their independence at home. With Help@Home, individuals get the peace of mind they need to stay in control of their daily lives for as long as they choose to stay in their homes.

JET Express Transportation
Provides access to transportation for individualized needs and promotes older adult independence through education and advocacy. Several transportation options exist.

Care Management
Care Management connects older adults to a professional Care Manager or Social Worker to partner closely in planning for the future or managing a crisis.

JFS Tech Connect
Tech Connect was a COVID 19 initiative that equipped older adults with a tablet, assisted with internet access, and trained them during a 10-week virtual course how to use their new device. Ongoing support for graduates continues.

Holocaust Survivors Services
We assist survivors and their families to access benefits including community resources, financial entitlements and homecare services.

Comprehensive Care
With aging, it is not uncommon to feel sad about retirement, health problems, being lonely or the loss of friends or a loved one. A continuum of services at JFS provides confidential referrals to counseling, spiritual care, grief and loss support, crisis and financial assistance. Your Care Manager will assist in finding referrals for other needs you may have.
