As Johnson County’s resource for seniors and families with questions about aging, it’s our mission every day to enable seniors to live full and active lives. Open to people of all faiths and backgrounds, our not-for-profit community is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, for CCRC (continuing care) living instilled with Catholic traditions and values.

The name Santa Marta is inspired by the protective spirit of Martha, the patron saint of innkeepers, cooks and others who serve. From exquisite details that delight all the senses to the warm and authentic relationships that staff members develop with Residents, the spirit of grace and loving service infuses every aspect of hospitality here.

In addition to senior apartments and free-standing villas for independent living, Santa Marta also offers a health care continuum with 45 assisted living apartments, 23 memory care suites and 46 skilled nursing suites. We also offer rehabilitation therapies and respite care. With a 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, our health services are available as part of the full continuum for our Residents and for the community at large.
